Hi all,

A number of us from the CGL are playing The Abbey on Sunday 21st March as a practise for the big event.  We have 4 places available if anyone would like to join us.

If anyone fancies a bit of pre-tournament banter and a look at the course please let me know asap as I need to finalise numbers this coming week.

Tee times are from 11.08 and the cost should be around £18

No Lewis, this is next Sunday 21st March.  You're quite welcome to come down and join us if you can make it.  About 14-15 of the soon to be victorius North team will there

You go and practice James, with the other Northern participants.

The Southern elite are taking on a much tougher course in preparation for the glorious twelfth.

It'll make the Abbey a walk in the park for us

Leyo, Ill be on the left side of the fairway eyeing up the flag while you are chopping out of the trees on the dog legs. Sounds good.

Are you bringing the same driver that I nailed it past at West Mids!!

Dave and to think I've been trying to rid myself of my slice.....may have to re-learn it for those doglegs - it normally comes out when I really go at the ball

I have been sharpening my matchplay skills by playing quality players. My last game was at Alice Springs and myself and my partner managed to get a half against a scratch man and our own David Ley, only receiving 12 shots.

Off to France on Wednesday for another three rounds, so will have no excuses come the day.

As usual with these things we've had a couple of people drop out overnight.  If anyone fancies a game at The Abbey tomorrow from 11.08, please drop me a message.
