Phil Mickleson's Ping Eye . . .

After he bent the rules regarding his U shaped grooved wedge.  Ping have U-turned/grooved (aha aha)  and waved the court ruling from 20 odd years ago.

I read this on teletext when I was in bed early this morning.

Ping have come to an agreement with the USPGA, so no more Ping Eye 2!

Although a few players used them it was within the rules at the time so you can't blame them, but the correct decision has finally been made.

I think Mickleson's also dropped the slander charges for being called a 'cheat' by another player now after receiving an apologies.
