Got back into the 80's today...felt good

I've gone out three times this week in an early morning round. It's been cold but very nice weather.

Today I equalled my best score of 87 and I also 'hit' my first flag pole.....it didn't go in but it did save my par - it would have bounced through the frozen green otherwis.

All in all it felt much better today - although I could see lots of areas to pick up shots....which I see as a good thing. I think I have actually par'ed all the holes at my course, so I guess the mental side of my game needs lots of work too.

Lewis, you watch that handicap, don't let it drop to much before the NvS

Well done.

Regards, Darren.

Keep it going Lewis well done, your obviously doing the right things and paring every hole on a course is always a good indication of your ability (genuine encouragement from the other side)

Knock it off Darren apparently thats my tactic!!

what I have found has got better the last week or so is that I've been 'more' able to string a good tee shot and a good second shot together, when this happens par seems soooo much easier as a possibility.

I'm still getting my 6's on par 3's.....I need to focus on cutting them out too....oh and wild tee shots.....and duffed chips and pitches

I told you in your last post that now you had broken 90 you would start doing it on a regular basis.

The normal thing again, is that you can see where you could have saved even more shots.
