New ish to this crazy game. Persuaded wife to take it up when we retired and now she is beating me- at golf that is. We are playing par 3's until we get fit enough for the big courses. Currently season ticket holders at 3 Hammers, near Wolverhampton. Should join Horsehay in summer.

Hi Chris,

I go to 3 hammers occasionally (brilliant shop and facilities)

I play down the road at bridgnorth.

Have you played horse hay golf club before or is it your local club?

We are really lucky in our area that we have a large number of courses in a stones throw from each other.

I definitely recommend the front 9 at chesterton valley if your just moving on from par 3s. I started playing at the start of last summer and I really enjoyed the front 9 at this course. Only one par 5 on it and some nice short par 4s. Really good for some just making the trasition to a full course. (back nines a different story wouldn't think it was the same course)

Be sure to check out in the area my home course Bridgnorth (beautiful in the summer) Worfield and Patshull.
