Today's the day !!!

For the first time in a long while, I can see patches of grass in my garden, the temp is up a bit and the rain is coming down

Today is the day we say goodbye to the snow....and hello golf !

Maybe in a day or two I should start a new thread about how wet the golf course isand how it is un-playable!

Most of our courses are still closed, even though the snow has been gone from here since Monday. Now, like Lewis and Darren have said, it's surface water that is causing the closures.

Heavy rain and wind are forecast for Saturday.

I can only assume Darren has been thinking of playing or arranging games over the last few weeks. There can't be any other explanation for all this terrible weather.

Forget global warming. It's Darren (I think I'll play golf) Ramowskis' fault

Darren,

Please don't arrange any games for next week, I'm due to go down to Celtic Manor for a few days & need the snow to go & the sun to shine!!

Paul, you don't realise how much it would focus your mind on the game. Believe me.

You have a goal of beating Mr consistency himself without strokes, think of the kudos if you could do that.

Personally I find that if I am giving shots away it has the same effect, I focus more & feel a real achievement if I win.

I think there could be an opportunity here for someone to open a book & get the bets flowing

Mr Ley,

That coming from an intelligent guy who cant chip for toffee, Reminds me of the lad at the Jo-berg open, putting from 20ft off the green as his chippings so dire...

No need to bring yourself into the conversation, Santo will sort you out, Don't worry.

JP, Hope Mrs JP gets better soon.

Paul.
