Hi All, First post so be gentle! Looking for GolfShake members support. Recently moved into the Cheshire area (Wilmslow) and a friend and I are looking to join a decent golf club. Affiliation or linked Health Club preferrable but not essential. Looking to spend around £100 per month including joining fee. I'm off 9 and my mate plays off 20. So looking for something that is a challange, well kept, sociable and caters for the experienced and those relatively new to golf. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated, look forward to a game with some of you! Regards Paul |

If you want a health club as well,Carden park its a De Vere course/hotel in cheshire.I recently enquired atHerons reach my nearest De Vere.It came to £111 a month,7 day memebership,healthclub/gym,and you canplay any of the other de vere courses round the country for free. There mainly championship courses as well, downside they are busy as they hold a lot of corporate days. |

Hi John, I've enquired about Mottram Hall which is another De Vere, sounds like a good package all in all and does look like a lovely course. Thanks again Paul |

Morning Paul, Highly recommend Mottram Hall, take a look at the review from last year. http://www.golfshake.com/course/news/1248/Feature_review_De_Vere_Mottram_Ha regards, Adam |

Thanks Adam, we're going to play Wilmslow, Mottram Hall and Tytherington among a few others in the area when the weather improves to get a proper feel, lose some balls and sample the 19th hole a few times!! Itching to get playing again! |

| Thanks Wayne - Tytherington does get a good write up, relatively new course, but designed by the same chap who produced Mottram Hall. Health Club facilities are excellent too and they have a great membership offer on at the mo. Jan free, Feb and March half price = £50 per month (normally £100 pm). |

| Paul, if playing real golf is what you seek in Cheshire, then I would recommend giving Sandiway Golf club a visit. You will not be disappointed with the course and as a low handicapper you will love the fact that the SSS is 2 shots above the par. |

| Thanks John, I'll put it on the list. I live in Sale, so it's not too far to go. |
