Both teams are now complete with over 40 players, this is fantastic news as the 1st done in 2007 attracted 32 players, and we now have 80 for the 2010 event.

We just need the venue now so deposits and confirmations can be completed

100% record in the N v S Tim you moron!

The Algarve is a mickey mouse event. The N v S is where it's really at. And where the South will again emerge victorious.

P.S. Do you have this picture on your desktop as a motivational tool? "Next year, that spoon will be mine, all mine..."

Thought the Algarve was just a practice for the N v S Stuart.  And yes I do use it as a motivational tool - if I ever get that bad I'm taking up squash...

You'd be far better off with squash mate. The ball comes back of the wall and into play even if you don't hit it straight. No need to rely on trees...

So Govan thinks the Algarve is a Mickey Mouse event, huh?

That being the case, he won't mind if he gets left behind every day when everybody else is out playing. He'll never find the courses anyway, so it will work out for the best.  Sorted..

Thanks Stu

Well, John...

He plays like Goofy, waddles around like Daffy and there's a definite resemblance between him and Minnie.

Now I will have a surprise for him when we get out there in February.

He will rue the day he made a remark like that
