I mostly play with my son but sometimes skip out work when it's quiet for 9 holes at Strathclyde Park.  I did today and had the course almost to myself.  If you can play at short notice during the week I'm interested.  I don't have a handicap at the moment but it would be around the 28 mark if I did.  .

I've played the one at Chapleton, nice course but not cheap compared to other nearby courses.

Played the shorter course at Kames last year. Sun was splitting the trees at tee off then it poured down about the 14th. Enjoyed it though. Never played the longer course there, been told its hard going (long).

Had a couple of lessons up there also, actually just about to book some more.

Hi mate,

If you are looking for a game, gimme a shout. I am a member of Easter Moffat just outside Airdrie.

Used to play Mouse Valley years ago when I stayed in Blantyre, have they improved the drainage at the end of the fairway at the first???? Used to be a bath down there. I did hear they were spending a fair bit on drainage a while back.

Cheers

Mark

If I remember, it is a decent course, fairways slope a fair bid though, dont get many flat lies.

anyone played Torrance Park over between Newarthill and Holytown?

Its just opened up on the 1st of May there, 35 quid a month or 1 off payment of 200  for 6 months membership. Course is looking pretty well.

Anyone fancy a game there anytime just let me know, to pay on is 15 a round week days and 20 weekends. Not sure about how signing anyone on goes, need to ask on Friday when im back up.
