SI Changed!

Posted by: user20126 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Sun 27th Sep 2009 19:14 | Last Reply

My golf club have changed some of the Stroke Indexes for some of the holes.

They have altered them having looked at all the competition scorescards from the last year.

Now my question is do we have to enter a new scorecard for the course or can we edit the old scorecard, without this affecting previous scores entered?

The SI will not affect any scores, the SI is only used in matchplay and stableford.

To answer your question I would think it would be best if you notified Darren of the changes in SI and he will amend the cards for you.

Come to think of it one of our courses has had the same done to it. I will have to check and see.

Russ, just trawling through the forums for any unanswered forum posts from me.

SI also affects handicaps given it's curedly based around stableford.

Thus to answer your question a new score card should be created with us archving off the old now outdated score cards.  This way no previous rounds will be affected.  To be honest they only get affected if you recalcualted your handicap or edited a round.

If we have not done this please email us at info   @    golfshake    .com

Regards, Darren.
