Dewsbury district

has anyone ever played Dewsbury district golf course and if so would you recommend it?

live close to dewsbury and played it several times. First and foremost think hills! course winds it way up a (very steep in places) hillside with far too many blind shots having to be played. par 3s are quite short but not very interesting (with exception of the 18th up the side of the clubhouse). once you reach the top of the hill you are often exposed to a howling gale. couple of decent holes coming back down the hill, with the last 4 holes being the pick of the course in my view.can be pleasant enough on a calm sunny day but certainly not a course i will rush back to!
