I have a space available for the 29th March and some for the 5th April if you want to experience what real golf is like

If it helps it's a nice flat course Phil, but you might get pressure from the wind

Good to to hear i'll have mainly flat lies. Hilly stances was my main worry. Bring it on! I'm not fused about the scores really just whether my knee will hold up but if someone called Tiger can do it i'm sure i'll be fine!!!

I said it was a flat course, not flat lies.

I'm not the issue Phil, just come here with an open mind and play according to the conditions.

By the way you do like 6' deep pot bunkers in the fairway don't you!!!

this link will give you an idea, just click on the hole number

I would like to say something but the last time i did i hit more bunkers than i ever thought possible.

mind you i dont have a problem getting out of bunkers, although the left side on the 4th did catch me out once, because the ball was against the face and i was playing in the monthly Medal i took 6 to get out of that

You'll love it Phil.  It's quite an easy walk, although some of the gorse bushes are a bit tough.  Seeing the photos brought back memories, although I never really saw the holes quite like that - if you squint at them you'll get more of an idea.

And the 8th, 445 yards.  Only took 4 to get to the green - driver, two 3 woods and a 6 iron!  Wind had got up a bit mind....

Looks awesome.

I would mention a few things about Tin hats, Bunkers, the Belfry and someone I know but it will come back to haunt me on the 15th or at Conwy

Played there with Wayne on 1st March. Loved it so much I'm going back on 5th April. Different game plan though this time. Tried playing it like my local cos it's that many years since I played a links I'd forgotten it all. Brought back many memories and re ignited my love of links golf

Phil, Darren.  Sounds very tempting - the 29th March one?  Just see what the girls are up to when they get back to the stables and I'll be right back...
