Romford Summer League 2009 (Blakes GC)

The first event in the Romford Summer League 2009 (RSL 2009) is being played at Blakes GC (http://www.blakesgolfclub.com/golf/) on Sunday 19th April 2009.

The cost for the round is £27 (food and drinks are available but you will have to purchase them yourself.) 

The first tee time is booked for 12 noon.

A buggy will cost £25 for the round.  PM me if you would like one and I'll reserve one for you.

Yardage charts are available at £3 each.

Driving range balls are £2 for 30 golf balls.

This event is advertised on two other golf forums and places are on a first come, first served basis.

Eight days before this event I will contact the club and adjust the amount of tee times required.

You do not have to play in the summer league to play in this game, everyone is welcome to play.

Wow, quite expensive if you need / want a buggy and yardage chart.

£55 for a round of golf? No way I could afford that one!

Dennis, you don't have to have any of those things.

The cost for the round of golf is £27, which is normal for a Sunday around here.  If all you want to do is play a round of golf then £27 is all you will pay.

Everything else is extra, the RSL 2009 costs £1 a game, and we have extra games to play but these are all extra, and you only have to join them if want too.

A yardage chart is a small book (map) of the golf course, showing the distances to the green/hazards.

I received some good news today, the cost of our golf has gone down!

The cost is now £20 instead of £27.

It appears they are having a special offer on during the period that our game is being played.
