Romford Summer League 2009
I will be running the Romford Summer League 2009 (RSL 2009) this year.
There will be six events, one each month on the third Sunday of each month (April to September.)
The venues I will be looking to play are:
Blakes GC - 12:00 first tee time
Toot Hill GC - TBC
Stapleford Abbotts GC (Abbotts Course) - 13:00 first tee time
Stapleford Abbotts GC (Priors Course) - 10:30 first tee time
North Weald GC - TBC
Maylands GC - TBC
Although this is a summer league you can play in any or all of these events without entering the summer league. Everyone is welcome to play.
For those of you interested in the summer league here is some more information:
All the events are scored using the Stableford method.
You will play off your golfshake handicap
You must play at least three events in order to qualify for a prize.
Each event will cost £1 to enter and all the money taken in is paid out in prizes.
I do run other games during these events, a £2 stableford game, £1 par 3 challenge and a mystery 5 game. Again, you don't have to play in these games if you don't want too.
