HHC 5

Hi all

Thanks Cliff enjoyed yesterday.

HHC 5 will be on the 30/11/2008, tee off at 09.32 at Thorpewood,Peterborough. This was their only free day with a decent start time, especialy as the days are now drawing in.  At least we will all finish with plenty of daylight to spare.

Shan't commit just yet but hoping to attend.

Martin can i put my name down?

Maybe you could run an 'elite' group (in relative terms, obviously) as in HHC2 Martin.  Four of us went off first, no prizes on offer.  We got a cheap game on a decent course, had the ritual humiliation of being whooped into 10th place and took some photos.  The low handicappers got to see us tee off and realise that we can spray balls all over the place the same as them, only further.

If there's room I wouldn't mind having another go. 

I may actually manage to get to this one.

Can I have an idea on Cost please - I'm on a tight budget with my studies.

Also I assume you'll have some way of marking up me as from the Ladies Tees.

Martin, getting a few disgruntled  vibes about the low handicappers, can you confirm they are just playing socially or are they in the actual competition as I think your numbers will drop if you don't have an elite group.

Oi Williams.  It's not my fault if you can't handle a bit of banter.  And if I'm that bad don't come to the Belfry on Friday.  I'm sure I can get someone else to take your spot......

how did this event go & did the low handicappers plough through the field??

What is HHC 5?  Is is for high handicap players.

How do you join one of these (or other) events?

Sorry that I wasn't able to make it.

I have been at work but there was no way I was walking round 18 holes of golf.  You'd have ended up carrying me and my clubs round.

 I will get to one of these events.
