Welcome to the May edition of the golfscoretracker newsletter.

This month we have been busy working on a few minor bugs and updates to improve the speed and performance of the site. We have also been looking at our roadmap for future updates and facilities. Don't forget to use the online Forum to post queries and suggestions or discuss anything related to golf.

Anyone who's not yet upgraded to the Premium account don't forgot the subscription is now fixed at �5 per year. We have also recently fixed an issue that did not allow users to complete the Paypal transaction due to the quantity being set to nothing, this is now corrected. Should anyone wish to pay by any other method then please get in contact with us @ [email protected]

For any new users, the Premium account provides access to some more report and graphical analysis, as well as the facility to enter advanced round information such as Putts, Bunkers etc. Once your 30 day trial to the Premium account expires you automatically become a free standard account user, unless you upgrade. The free standard account still provides unrestriced access to the site, allowing unlimited rounds to be entered for multiple courses and also still track handicaps.

A paypal account isn't required we are just using paypal to complete our online Credit/Debit card transactions securely over the internet. Should anyone wish to pay by any other method then please get in contact with us @ [email protected]

Competition and Society Feature

For anyone not familiar with the golf competition and golf society features.

The competition feature allows you to create an upto 4 player competition and easily add rounds for all players. Once complete you can the view the competition results and leaderboard.

* Have now added Competition type '2 ball Matchplay'
* All forthcoming competitions can be deleted and edited by the administrator (creator)
* Competition edit player list - left hand list now removes players who are already in the competitors list
* Competition Rights - You can now add competitions and allow the players to add their own scores
* Comeptition edit - New/Old rounds can now be added to be flagged against a competition.

The society feature allows you to create your own society area that you and the other members can access. You have your own personal message board, you can also easily view a list of all the society members.

The key feature is the ability to create society competitions which allow upto 12 players to participate in a golf competition. You can the view the competition results and we will soon be introducing the society leaderboard so that you can track the performance through the season.

* Society Homepage - updated to include Society menu navigation
* Society admin - Individual list away from the user list
* Next Event and last event results (Competitions) displayed on the Society home page. 
* Also added new society navigation menu which should make it easier to use.
