These retail at something approximately £660 plus, so this does seem rather inviting, but to me it smells of them being copies. I have no doubt that they will play pretty well and at that price a cheap set.

At that price, and still wrapped up I'd be 100% sure that they are copies from China, I buy and sell quite a lot of clubs on ebay and the marketplace is rife with them unfortunately. Check the user feedback out, one claim of new clubs already rusting and another claim of selling counterfeit goods. If its too good to be true then it is.

Wouldn't touch evil-bay with the preverbrial barge pole. Go to golfbidder instead.

Oh & if you want irons with graphite shafts, by Yonex they are the only brand that designs everything to work together, head-shaft-grip. My previous irons were Yonex though steel shafted, as thats what I wanted. can't recommend that brand enough. When I change driver again it'll probably be back to Yonex as I've had one before & their shafts are great, but my new one will be stiff rather than regular & I wont be needing as much loft as with my last Yonex driver. Anyway I'm off topic now.

Yonex graphite shafted Irons buy from golfbidder Oh & either buy C280 irons or the previous models of Nanospeed irons.

i was talking to the pro at my driving range and he warned me off ebay also, especially when graphite shafts are involved, before i spoke to him about this i bought a taylormade burner driver off ebay for 120 so about a 40 pound saving, in talking one day i mentioned where i bought the club, he seems to think the main thing to look out for is the strength of the shaft, if you grip the handle in one hand and head with the other you should only be able to twist the club a few degrees at most, with fakes you can sometimes twist the shaft up 2/3 of the way round, its due to the carbon content in the shaft that creates the torque, apparantly.
