Welcome to the April edition of the golfscoretracker.

Over the last month we have mainly been working on the Competition and Society sections adding new features and enhancements. Competitions can now be edited and deleted and we have also introduced a 2 Ball Match Play competition, more details are below.

And don't forgot the the Premium account subscription is now fixed at �5 per year.

We have now done several updates to the competition feature to make the administration and using easier as well as introduction new features.

Have now added Competition type '2 ball Matchplay'

All forthcoming competitions can be deleted and edited by the administrator (creator)

Competition edit player list - left hand list now removes players who are already in the competitors list

Competition Rights - You can now add competitions and allow the players to add their own scores

Comeptition edit - New/Old rounds can now be added to be flagged against a competition.

The competition feature allows you to create an upto 4 player competition and easily add rounds for all players. Once complete you can the view the competition results and leaderboard.

Society Feature

Also in association with the Competition feature we have also done some enhancements and updates to the Society facility.

Society Homepage - updated to include Society menu navigation

Society admin - Individual list away from the user list

Next Event and last event results (Competitions) displayed on the Society home page.

Also added new society navigation menu which should make it easier to use.

The society feature allows you to create your own society area that you and the other members can access. You have your own personal message board, you can also easily view a list of all the society members.

The key feature is the ability to create society competitions which allow upto 12 players to participate in a golf competition. You can the view the competition results and we will soon be introducing the society leaderboard so that you can track the performance through the season.

As previously mentioned you can still upgrade to the Premium account for a yearly fee of �5 if you haven't already done so, as we have now decided to freeze the price at �5. A paypal account isn't required we are just using paypal to complete our online Credit/Debit card transactions.
