Hi All,

I'm relocating to New mills, just on the border of cheshire and Manchester. Can any one recommed some cheap courses to play.

As I'm playing more golf, I'm also considering joining a club, any recomendations of clubs in that area. (please bear in mind I am a cheap skate!)

 Thanks in advance

 Paul

Hi Paul,

I now live in South Wales but used to live in Chapel-en-le-Frith, the closest courses to you are New Mills and Disley, both decent hillside/mountain courses and, if my memory is correct neither of them was particiularly expensive to play. Capel-en-le-Frith is a very nice course but not the cheapest. Other courses are Shrigley Hall, Hazel Grove, Stockport & Bramhall, but I don't know how expensive they are.

Hope that this helps.

Hi Paul,

I'm a member at Hazel Grove. Green fees are £35.50 midweek (£40.50 for the day) and £45.50 for 18 or the day at weekends.

However with a member it's £15.50 in the week and £20.50 at weekends. I'd be more than happy to take you round if you fancy it.

Simon

Wow, that would be great if I could get a round with you. I have a week off from the 11th of august or if there is any weekend after that.

I'll send you my number later.

Paul, De Vere Carden Park - either Nickolas or Cheshire course.

Using 2 for 1 vouchers is £25 per round each.

Great courses too.
