After the success of the first two High handicap competitions, the third one will be held at Newbold Comyn Golf course in leamington Spa Alistair Mitchell and myself will be joint organisers. ( that way we blame each other!)  Can you let us know favourite dates in September from those below.

Sunday 14th, Sunday 21st or Sunday 28th.

Agree with Chris - also include the 7th of Sept as a choice.  As everyone should be back from their Hols.

Cannot do late August as golfing in Portugal and cannot do 14th September as away again golfing at Bournemouth. I would prefer the 7th to use it as a warm up!

I've OK for the 14th and 21st but not the 28th.

I can do the 7th is that becomes a serious option

Cant do the 7th as got a society game, the rest should be fine, depending on when the better half books the holiday.

Behind bandits again.  I was actually one place off the prizes and only had myself to blame because my putting on the first 7 holes was shocking.  When you've done better than second you can gloat. 

Like to see you at, as Tim put it, a "grown up's comp" when you haven't got your mates to drag you round. 

The 8th hole at Newbold comyn is called cardiac hill. We will be asking competitors for doctors fitness certificate. or you will have to come early, and do a fitness test , or in the limit book a buggy.

all the dates would be ok for me but the 7th would be the best as it would be just after i get back from ireland the coarse i play there has two or three cardiac hills on it you need a bit of mountain goat in you to get round that one

I know you and Ali are organising this together but you may have to take charge as he has been boasting in the office how much rum he plans to drink in the three weeks he is buggering off to Trinidad for.

I cant see him being in much of state to organise anything when he returns!

I am off next week, and it takes me 4 weeks to sober up as well!

 whats the lowest handicap acceptance level to enter to the comp. i would be able to make the 14/09/08, i can,t make the 28th as i get free tickets to the british masters at the belfry, no way can i miss that!!!!

I am going to sort out HHC 4 at peterborough (thorpewood) for October if all are interested, will check on dates and see whats best.

Hi guys,just to let you know been doing some special altitude training in readiness for this cardiac hill, only problem is that it was with paula radcliffe so not hopeful of a podium finish!!! Cliff I played in a mixed match yesterday. Weather was fine.

update  on possible closure of course tomorrow will be around 8am on sunday. I have sent a PM to all competitiors, if they want to call me direct.
