Just taken delivery, literally in the last 15 mins, of a GoKart electric trolley and it looks the dog's danglers.  Everything I've read about these was positive, with the exception of one of two people whining over nothing.

Weighs next to nothing, the battery is the heaviest part.

It'll be getting used on tomorrows round, and I'll let you all know how it goes.

Had one since April, bought after reading good reviews. Can't fault it, use it 1-2 times per week and have been very impressed with performance over all sorts of terrain (explains my golf!).

I bought two batteries which I alternate, but recently used it on a 27-hole golf day and didn't need to swap over as there was still power to spare.

Ive only heard good reviews of these whilst i have heard very poor reviews of just about every other brand out there. When i am old enough to get a power trolley GoKart is what ill be buying

Old enough Colin?  I'm only 31.  I'm just happy to embrace technology to make my life easier.  Plus I'm lazy

I bought mine same day as jamie and we both used them last night in very windy conditions

Trolley is great, loads of power and i'm sure the battery would last at least 27 holes. My golf was not good but it was 30mph winds. Tthe walk was great and no shoulder strain from pulling a cart.

Get one they are very good and their service is top class

I'm almost 31 and I use one, or a buggie. I'm getting old IMO, so need to embarce technology, until of course we run out of oil, and are plunged into an armaggeddonistic lawless state of affairs where we wouldn't be playing golf anyhow

Jon don't say that, the earth may burn and the skies fall but we will still play golf!

If the course is more than walking distance away, then ur stuffed. If the greenstaff don't have handmowers, and the ability to get to work, then ur stuffed. If there's no electricity, and u can't charge ur GoKart battery, then ur proper stuffed. No water, and u'll dehydrate on the course, then ur even more stuffed. If the boats can't import food for us all to eat and stay alive, then ur even more stuffed again. Basically, playing golf will be the last thing you'll think of, but the earth won't be burning, and the sky won't have fallen down, but playing golf you will not be. As you can tell, I'm ever the eternal optimist!!

And there ends today's message of doom and gloom. Have a nice day ya'll

The greenstaff not being able to cut the grass won't bother me.  I play most of my golf where they don't cut the grass anyway.

I just play a game of ball exchange.  Hit a ball into the rough, lose mine, find someone elses, shrug and carry on.  If I find out who uses Dunlop DDH's at my course I'm going to have to try to convince him to use better balls, as I've found about a thousand of them.

think i'd move to the my golf course and live in a tent. there is plenty of water, mainly with balls in it but that's ok. and there are loads of swans and geese to eat,.

It's got to be better than work.

The golf kart is still great and tonight gets a proper test on a hilly course.
