Championship golf courses
Mike Foster Handicap : 12.3 Location : Posts :	Posted : Fri 30th May 2008 19:54 I've just been searching for a couple of courses to play during a UK holiday and seen several that describe/advertise themselves as championship golf courses without ever having hosted a golf championship. A championship golf course is one that has featured a professional tour event, not something a design house has knocked up that could theoretically host a tournament, therefore badged of championship standard. This really bugs me...
