Here I am, 5.20 on Sunday and nobody's on the forums because you're all out enjoying the beautiful golfing weather, same as yesterday probably.  Me?  I'm stuck here working to get a job done for tomorrow morning.  Drawback of being self-employed I suppose.

Hope you all get sunburn.

I'm with you, Tim. I don't play at week-ends myself, but I will be out tomorrow morning.

Trust you to bloody moan Hawkins.

I am self employed and prefer to work weekends, so I can play during the week when all the other ####### are at work.

Oh...And my tan is coming along very nicely...Thanks for asking

I was kinda gutted that i didn't get an invite to a local invitation, mainly due to me not having a club handicap, as coming first = no prizes Anyhow, the sun was cracking the flags, then at 3pm the heavens opened and the worst electrical storm I've ever seen appeared for 4 hours, with hailstones and torrential rain!! Hasten to say I was then rather glad to have my feet up watching Man Utd win the PL

Played in an Open event at Stand GC, 4ball Better Ball !!! when I left at 5:30 clubhouse leaders were 45pts off 3/4 handicap???????????

We we're told last years winners had 49pts off 3/4 Handicap!!! I'm saying nothing

by the way Sobey got another Fanny yesterday, WELL DONE MARK!!!

Darren are we having a trophy for the most over the year???

Wayne, I think it is grossly unfair of you to highlight Mark's misfortune in this manner.

I am sure he didn't mean to do it. Perhaps the tee sloped slightly, or the wind affected his swing. Or he had something on his mind and the concentration lapsed for a few seconds.

If you intend to have a trophy, for the most of these unfortunate occurrences throughout the year, then perhaps it should be named The Sobey Annual Driving Disaster Oscar.

Or just plain SADDO for short

Alternatively, he may just be a big tart who wants his desire to be like a woman to extend beyond just the bedroom on a Friday night.

There were others I thought of.

The SHAME award.  Sobey Hit And Miss Extravaganza

or

Sobey Hit It Twonk ...I'll leave it to you to work out the title.

If I am going to be dead, then I would rather go out with a bang than just a wimper

 Or

Sobey's Amazing Duffs And Catch it Thin award.

Affectionately know as the Sad Act.
