Welcome to the March edition of the golfscoretracker. This is the first online newsletter and in future editions as well as providing information and updates on the golfscoretracker website we also plan to bring you golf tips, golf reviews and golf offers.

We have been busy over the last month adding more features and more reporting analysis as well as launching the Premium account and several new features.

Don't forgot you can still upgrade to the Premium account for only �5 a year until the 16th April 2005. More information on the Premium account available below.

[b]Premium Account[/b]

We have now launched the premium account with many additional features. Don't forgot you can still upgrade to the Premium account for a yearly fee of �5 if you upgrade before the 16th April. A paypal account isn't required we are just using paypal to complete our online Credit/Debit card transactions.

Details for upgrading are available from the new look home page once you have logged in.

The following is a quick overview of some of the advanced features available to the Premium account, more information is available by logging in.

[b]Golfscoretracker Home page updates (19th Hole)[/b]

The initial home page when you log in as been updated to include much more golf related information. The old home page is still available displaying your brief performance overview but we have now renamed this to 'Your Home'.

The home page now displays the latest golf news from around the world, a brief overview of your status, help and how to's, latest golf reviews, the message centre showing any golfscoretracker message and the following new features :

Golf Directory

Online golf directory of other golf sites that are available online. This is brought to you in conjunction with our sister site golfresource.co.uk

Golf Reviews

Golf reviews of golfing products brought to you in conjunction with our sister site golfresource.co.uk. We hope to bring many more golf reviews for the lastest products over the next few months.

[b]Competition Feature[/b]

We have now launched the competition feature which allows you to create an upto 4 player competition and easily add rounds for all players. Once complete you can the view the competition results and leaderboard.

[b]Society Feature[/b]

To work with the compeition feature we have now also launched the society feature. The society feature allows you to create your own society area that you and the other members can access. You have your own personal message board, you can also easily view a list of all the society members.

The key feature is the ability to create society competitions which allow upto 12 players to participate in a golf competition. You can the view the competition results and we will soon be introducing the society leaderboard so that you can track the performance through the season.

[b]User profile updated[/b]

The user profile, which is availabel to everyone has now been updated to show an overview of your golf preformace. It now shows your round performance overview for the last 3 rounds, month by month handicap analysis and the courses you have played this year.

This is automatically available for everyone to see unless you change the security setting within your user prefrences.

[b]Report - History Overview[/b]

For premium members the history overview report shows rounds and handicap analysis month by month for the current year and previous year. It also shows a full round course analysis and round performance for the last 10 rounds played.
