Both the Groom and I are wanting to catch a couple of rounds while we are out there. Has anyone been before? Any recomendations? and whats the deal with handicap certificates? Niether of us have an official club handicap, do you think we could use the printable one from Golf shake? Cheers Paul |

No idea on green fees now that Cyprus is in the Euro. I gather the impression that Cyprus has now priced itself out of the tourist trade. It always was expensive to eat nicely, but apparently it is now way over the top. My brothet in law has an apartment at Coral Bay and even he does not go there anymore, he swaps with someone somewhere in the world. I doubt you will need handicap certificates as the majority of players cannot play (Including me)anyway, so you will be welcomed I'm sure. |

Both were excellent especially the cart paths but for your money secret valley at £30 incl the buggy (if 2 are playing) beats £100 for the round at Aphrodite hills every day of the week. I have reviewed Secret Valley in the review section. Bet you a fiver you cant clear the ravine on the par 5 at Aprodite Col |
Mas Tiff![]() Handicap : 23.6 Location : ![]() Posts : | Reply : Wed 30th Apr 2008 20:46 If you are going to Paphos and are even going to pop in to Aphrodite for a nose then visit my 'secret place' shhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone. What was a tiny fishing village down the road from Aphrodite is now being developed in to a very smart cove with Fantastic sea view villas. Pissouri Bay & Pissouri village, the place is an absolute oasis. I was in Cyprus twice last year and personally I think reasonable food with tasty dishes in Greek restaurants represent excelent value for money . It is far cheeper to eat ( and definately to drink)out there than here or France or Spain so I have to differ slightly on that one. Best of luck Mas |
Paul Goonoo![]() Handicap : 24 Location : ![]() Posts : | Reply : Thu 1st May 2008 12:28 I got some emails back from tsada and secret valley. Looks reasonably priced as it's a low season when we're there. SECRET VALLEY & TSADA EUR 65.00 &nb EUR 48.00 &nb EUR 65.00 &nb Definitly get a couple of rounds in. No answer from Aphrodite hills yet, but could be a little out of my price range! |
