Not very happy.

The Monday after the Open sees a big increase in newcomers on golf courses. They have seen the golf and want to try it. Now only Sports minded people who pay for Sky Sports will get it live. Sky now need to open a Golf Channel just for Golf and charge accordingly.

No doubt some additional charges will follow to allow viewers to watch

This is very sad news we won't benfit from the Peter Alliss commentary but then again the BBC is in such a state and Sky's coverage is great but alas there is a price just like the license fee. It really is a sad state of affairs the amount of golf that is covered by the BBC these days.

Lets hope that Sky give us Sky1 coverage over the first two days like they are doing this week with The British Masters. At least for 2017.
