So last sunday a friend invited me to play 18 holes at Chichester golf course.the tower course.. It was an excellent day and I really enjoyed it and will be playing again what a wonderful game I really wished I had done this sooner. I scored 117 on par 71 is that really bad for a begginer or have I got hope haha thanks for reading and sorry again for grammer etc

From experience of starting out 2 years ago 117 isnt to bad at all, as you all round game improves your scores will lower, i went to the driving range once a week and mainly practiced my short game as once you master your wedges and putter the scores will keep getting lower

Welcome to the site and to this great game.
Your score is about the average for a beginner.
Keep playing, learn a few things and you will soon be breaking the 100 shot barrier, after that it's all downhill.....

This is a good place to record your scores as it gets very addictive looking at all your stats!
