calculating points
hi guys,
what apps do you use to calculate stableford points, I'm organising an event for 8 people and want to calculate points and a leader board, so far the apps iv tried are all for unto 4 people. i will not have access to internet, and will have either iPhone or iPad to use.

Hi Paul, I think you may struggle via just an iPad with offline use. A spreadsheet would have been my suggestion if you had access to a laptop.
I also presume you are doing after the round in the clubhouse ?
It's a while a way but this feature is something planned for some future Golfshake updates focused around apps, smartphones and tablets.

Thanks Darren, thats what i thought, yes will be trying to do it in the clubhouse after, last year the wifi was so slow as i was trying to put all out scores straight into golf shake.

Probably not the best help in the world but cant you just do the scores manually with a pencil? i reguraly have to do it when i play with friends (as most dont know how) it doesnt take long 5 mins or so for a 4 ball

Got this link off another golf site and downloaded the excel file for my annual golf day 48 players. Excellent file just have to put course info, players names, handicaps etc and then on the day fill scores in. Give it a whirl, I think its great.

I saved it with excel on my macbook then opened with numbers and shared through iCloud and it seemed to work fine on my phone and pad! Perfect solution.

You could try emailing it to yourself and opening on the iPad?
