Ignoring the weather for the time being it's all getting very exciting.

26 players are now confirmed for both teams for the Monday fourball matchplay.

There are also 22 players, hopefully, confirmed for both teams for some singles matchplay on the Sunday!

Me and Andy Kenyon are going to be whipping up a game plan on the way up Sunday evening. Haha up the south.

Funny how these things turn out isn't it. Every year there are some cracking match-ups and this year is no exception

Just for clarity, full information will be posted tomorrow, to ensure that the Sunday does not impact the main Monday event and given we are trying the Sunday singles MP format it is proposed that; a win will count for 0.5 points and a loss of draw 0.

That way only 11 points are up for grabs.

On Monday with the fourball matchplay the normal format will apply with 1 point for win, 0.5 for draw.

Isnt it good to see it up live Darren, I think that the idea was for halved matches to count as 0 in final tally, so no need for extra holes. glad that Ram is only a southerner for the day as his replacement Owen is playing off 1 on monday !!!!
