One of the most confusing and unusually laid out courses I have played, crosses a road twice, one hole has a sloping fairway thats almost impossible to stay on, another has a tree plonked in the middle of the fairway and the 18th seems to have been added as an after thought. Great views though, but I expected more from a 'Royal'.

Not impressed with the layout, feels cramped and the two par 3's to finish is disappointing. Slight snooty attitude feel to the place too.

very windy all year round, a long hard course but the veiws are amazing.
