Good parkland course
good parkland course in North Ayrshire,fair test of golf without being over taxing, fair pricing for a round, clubhouse closed at the moment due to covid restrictions but expected to be open soon, well worth a visit is normally busy early morning easing as the day goes on advisable to book a tee time.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 10.3)

excellent course

Not too shabby
This course has been maintained to a council course level , the greens could be better maintained and the booking system needs looked at , having said that the area and surroundings made for a pleasant afternoon.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: )

Great course a proper challenge well maintained and in good condition. club facilities are less than welcoming with a ?30 annual charge for the use of the bar.
Food is available on a very limited basis. Toilet facilities for players not using the club house are a bit basic.

This is a challenging course and the ground staff do an excellent job in maintaining what is a very heavily used municipal course. Apart from the pro shop, facilities are non existent unless you wish to pay a £30 social membership to be able to get anything to eat or drink. This applies during and out with licensing hours. You are better playing one of the nearby private courses where the price of your round includes your entry to the clubhouse.

Course well laid out well maintained and challenging. The Club facilities leave a bit to be desired, food is not always available in the bar and the toilets accessed from the course are not the best

Mixture of links and semi-parkland holes. Deceivingly tough on some holes, especially number ten, a very long par 4. Varied orientation of holes ensures that no matter which direction wind blows, some holes will be with wind direction, others against and others crossways. Layout also means one can start at 5 different holes from the clubhouse, allowing one to avoid slow groups ahead by cutting across. Lots of choice for how to play holes - bump and run, or chipping to flag. Greens of average quality.
