The 18 hole, par 71 championship golf course measures 6,361 yards. The layout is typical of that from the world renowned golf course architect Harry Colt, known for course designs such as Wentworth, Sunningdale and Royal Portrush. Laid out in 1936 the course offers a great challenge with gently undulating fairways lined with trees. The greens always present a true putting surface and are framed by trees or landscaped mounds with many of them being protected by the cleverly placed bunkers to catch the wayward approach shot. The course consists of two loops of nine holes enabling golfers to start and finish their rounds near the clubhouse.
