Donnington Valley Golf Club
Snelsmore House, Snelsmore Common, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 3BG United Kingdom
Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa, in Newbury, had its beautiful 18 hole parkland golf course re-designed and lengthened between 1998 and 2000 and is now a challenging 6,353 yards, par 71 course from the back tees. Although some of the holes are quite forgiving the closing four holes are regarded as one of the toughest finishes in the country, with water featuring prominently on 15th, 16th and 17th holes.Course Club Updates for 2011

Course News
11th Hole - redesigned bunker infront of the green and a redesigned tee under construction currently, which will vastly improve this already challenging Par 3.
Hole 1 - 2 new pot bunkers introduced by the green during 2010 and now fully in play, making this starting Par 5 a good test of golf.
The whole course is looking and playing wonderfully even after the awful snow and rain over recent months.
Clubhouse News
The changing rooms have been redecorated along with the main corridors and entrance hall.
