Allen Park Golf Centre
Opened in 1996 the Golf Course covers an area of approximately 143 acres, stretching to 6683 yards of gently undulating parkland. Three man-made lakes add to its beauty with perhaps the most difficult of all the holes being the Par 3 7th (181 yards) which calls for a tee shot across one of the lakes. Many of the holes will prove testing even for the more experienced golfer. All Greens are built to high quality USGA. specifications and are surrounded by strategically placed bunkers.

very good value for money council course.well looked after greens are fantastic.very challenging as well.special offers include 9 holes for 5 pounds mon to thurs after 6pm

Played the course in July 2009 and was impressed. Although a council ran facility the green staff had the course in terrific condition. Greens were only ones I played this summer that were receptive to iron shots. This course is young but a great deal of work has been done to add new trees and new fairway bunkers on virtually every hole. Will look even better in years to come. Will provide a stern test for even the longest of hitters. Will definitely be going back.

Not impressed, though providing challenging hole lengths the course fairways resembled bunkers due to the amount of sand on them and the greens all had 5mm deep tracks 30 mm apart for drainage which caused ball to veer of track. Could have been bad time of year to go (June) but was disappointed having played it before in better condition.
