Burstow Golf Club
Burstow Golf Club is a nine-hole course situated midway between Horley and Crawley close to Gatwick Airport on the Surrey and Sussex border.
It covers some 21 acres with a variety of challenging holes, although only nine holes consisting of 5 par 3’s and 4 par 4’s the course is still a challenge for every level of golfer.Contact Information

Course Information
Location
Location: From Horley Follow the B2036 South in the direction of Balcombe, passing Gatwick Parking on your Right turn left at the roundabout onto the B2037 sign posted Burstow. After about 1 mile you will pass Westland’s farm on your left and Burstow Golf Club entrance is a further 50-meter's on your right. From Crawley Follow signs for motorway M23 but before the motor way roundabout take the slip road on the left and follow signs for the Crematorium. Continue on this road (B2036—Balcombe Road) until you reach a small roundabout where you should turn right onto the B2037 towards Burstow. After about 1 mile you will pass Westland’s farm on your left and Burstow Golf Club entrance is a further 50 meter's on your right. From the M23 Exit the Motor way at Junction 10 and head toward Crawley on the dual carriage way. At the first large Roundabout go all the way around and head back towards the Motor way but before reaching it start to follow directions as above.

A great academy for the younger golfer, very friendly and rarely too busy to turn up and play.
If there were a formal description of a course which is tougher and more varied than a pitch and putt but cannot aspire to St Andrews, then whatever that word would be, it would describe Burstow Golf club.
For the beginner, I think it presents an adequate challenge.
Be wary when wet, drainage can be an issue here.The Course
