Great fun at windy Nailcote

The autumn colours on the maples were spectacular, shame the bunkers were in the main no in good condition. The greens were in need of a cut and the edges of the holes were a little ragged but this didn't spoil the challenge in a stiff breeze and small greens. The water proved attractive to golf balls.

Great condition

Playing in mid December with pretty good weather, bit soggy in parts due to the recent heavy rain, greens in good condition and sped up over the round as it dried off. Well worth a visit

A great place to visit if you fancy something different. I thought I'd miss getting the driver out, but I actually didn't & it really made me work on my irons.
Very tight layout, with a few trees & water to catch you out. A lot of the greens are elevated so are still a good test even if you just miss.
It was in decent condition, I expected it to be immaculate as it hosts the par 3 championship, but teeing off mats was disappointing. The greens were OK, bunkers good.
I'd play it again, but wouldn't make a specific journey

Was expecting something special after reading reviews and seeing the course website but was very disappointed. The course has suffered from the bad weather and is soggy in most areas. The greens had been hollow tined and sanded but the thick lines of sand made it like putting on a beach. Green staff doing major work on greens at 11am putting holes out of action was also disappointing. This course would be nice to play on a sunny summer evening when it's in better condition. Small, elevated greens make for good pitching wedge target practice. Course is generally a nice layout with nice use of water. Worth a visit if passing but not a specific journey, I played on the way to the Warwickshire golf course.

A great course - very testing but fun too.
No need for your driver, it is a fantastic way to improve your short game.
A tight course, meaning very little walking, but the greens are small, undulating and well protected. There are no easy holes!

Rick, the owner of Nailcote Hall, has invested heavily in the course over the last few years and has made what was always a very good par 3 course into something truly exceptional. If you haven't played here, you really must. The longest hole may only be 144 yards but it is an excellent test of your short game skills.

The course hosts the British Par 3 Championship which will boast a prize fund of £100,000 this year and will attract some big names from past and present. It's well worth a visit.
