Stunning Las Colinas to Host Major Events in Spain

Spain's Leading Golf Course (as declared by the World Golf Awards), Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is delighted to confirm (in partnership with the Royal Spanish Golf Federation) that it will be hosting two major tournaments in February, the Spanish Seniors Men's Amateur Championship and an exciting 'Spain v Sweden' event for junior female golfers.

As Spain’s Leading Golf Course (World Golf Awards 2015 & 2016), Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has been chosen ahead of several other leading Spanish courses to host these showpiece events, in partnership with the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.

The Spanish Seniors Men’s Amateur Championships will bring 120 of the best senior players around the world together to compete for the coveted title. The format of the three day event is strokeplay and will be held between the 9^th & 12^th of February.

The ‘Spain v Sweden’ match will see the top 8 Spanish female juniors and top 8 Swedish juniors (under 18s) go head-to-head on the 18^th & 19^th of February. The two day matchplay event is in line with Las Colinas’ overall strategy to promote women’s golf and help raise the profile of the sport in the process.
