Originally opened for play in December 1896, the course has seen many improvements such as the recently implemented fairway watering scheme. At 6364 yds, Maidenhead Golf Course is challenging test with well protected greens. Set in 150 acres of splendid woodland, the fairways are reasonably flat and provide an enjoyable walk.
