What The Club Says
Churchill & Blakedown Golf Club was founded in 1926 and is set in lovely Worcestershire countryside that offers breathtaking views from the course and clubhouse.The parkland course of some 6,500 yards offers a true test to all levels of golfer with the quality of the greens being a feature.That the Club is often chosen to host Worcestershire County events is testimony to the golfing challenge offered.

Good but wet in places
On the whole the course was good and playable. Couple of greens very wet and patchy. Bunkers much better.Reviewer Rating

Mixed
Greens much better. Better level of sand in the bottoms of the bunkers but grass and weeds in other areas. Fairways getting better after the summer drought. Just seems to be lacking some TLC…..Reviewer Rating

Getting Better

Firm and Fast
Very firm and fast making finding the fairway in some holes nigh on impossible…..Feel the rough needs to be grown up (when able) to help speed up play and also stop balls running crazy distances when not even offline. Greens running ok, little slow compared to other courses I’ve played and bunkers very inconsistent with amount of sand. Course really needs some rain.

Spring Is Here
Already starting to show signs of much needed growth. Greens starting to speed up. Fairways looking nice too. All that’s needed believe it or not is some water and more growth.Reviewer Rating

Keeps Getting Better
Over the past 4-5 months the course has got better and better. The new head Greenkeeper Wayne has made a massive difference to the course as a whole but especially the greens. Played here Saturday and I can honestly say they are the best they've been since I joined over 5 years ago?so pure and quick too.It really is a joy to play here and I'm not the only one to say this.
If you want a friendly, enjoyable and relaxed game then here is the place to play.
