What the club says: Clandeboye Golf Club is a 36 hole inland complex of championship calibre in a setting of rare beauty. Only 12 miles from Belfast, it was created in 1933 by William Renwick Robinson, a local linen merchant with a love of golf and a flair for landscaping. The 6,559 yard Dufferin is the longest course and is now recognised as one of Ireland's great inland golfing experiences. The shorter Ava is a complete contrast. A mere 5755 yards, and often mistakenly called "the wee course".

Great Course well worth playing

A gem of a course which is in great condition. It can be played all year round and is a very good challenge to all levels of golfers.
I would recommend that you should give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful course. First time i had played there and was very impressed. Some blind holes to play when if you weren't with a member woukd be difficult to know which way to hit to. Very impressed overall.

Nice course but very wet

The course itself is excellent and can be challenging, we went on a day that was wet and half of the greens where unplayable which was disappointing. Tho the course pro realised this after are round and offered us a free round on a better day. Which was excellent customer service

Great place

There are two courses on this property and I played the Dufferin course because it was less crowded, members seemed to prefer the Clandeboye course. The Pro was very welcoming and helpful. The course itself has a mixture of challenges on always interesting holes. You can get very interesting bounces if you are unlucky enough to catch the odd outcrop of rock and water is also a feature in places. Course conditions indicated a dedicated, highly professional greenstaff. Worth a look if you are in or near Belfast.
