The Talon becomes a big hit with golfers following crowdfunding success

A ground-breaking, new digital golf training aid - The TALON, has proved to be huge hit with golfers after surpassing its 60-day crowdfunding target of £20,000.

Following its airing on INDIEGOGO two months ago, the innovative stance-improvement device – which, for the first time in the game’s history, delivers real-time, visual feedback on golf stance, set-up and angles of address – has received more than £21,000 in crowdfunding contributions, in the shape of exclusive pre-orders. 

The sum raised will be apportioned to the first 500-unit production run, available in November, and more than 20 per cent of the TALONs have already been sold, thanks to the INDIEGOGO crowdfunding pre-orders of the greatly anticipated product.

The innovative golf-stance-improvement tool – the brainchild of Teesside-based product designer Hulbert and his father Paul – is a unique addition to the golf technology market, enabling golfers to view their stance and adjust to their best position, improving muscle memory, consistency and performance. 

The TALON uses a digital display unit which attaches to the top of any golf club, together with a separate wireless back unit, which uses patent-pending technology to remove guesswork by calculating and displaying clearly four critical angles of address: spine angle, club-shaft angle, club-shaft-to spine angle, and rotation angle of the club face.
