As the snow and rain gathers and soaks courses, what footwear you have on your feet can make quite a sizable difference to your scores. If you’re wearing summer golf shoes with skimpy materials and little in the way of spikes, you may find yourself waterlogged and suffering from poor grip on the less amenable turf.

Many golf shoe brands now produce specific models geared towards winter golf, providing extra rain protection to keep your feet dry and warm.
