Callaway MAVRIK Irons Review

By: Golfshake Editor | Edited: Tue 14 Jan 2020

Part of Callaway's new MAVRIK Family of Golf Clubs, the MAVRIK Irons live up to that moniker in representing a groundbreaking move for Callaway, who have used Artificial Intelligence for the first time in an iron. These feature a new Flash Face Cup with A.I. to create a sophisticated face architecture for every loft, a level of engineering that is new for the golf industry. By implementing a different Flash Face for each iron, Callaway has boosted ball speed and increased spin robustness across the set.

Additionally, Callaway has unveiled the MAVRIK Pro Irons for higher standard golfers seeking that tailored performance, and the MAVRIK MAX for those of us who need that extra touch of forgiveness.

PGA Pro at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, Golfshake's Ryan Rastall has been testing each of the new irons in his Performance Centre, analysing if these clubs deliver on the promised technology. You can see Ryan's review of the MAVRIK Irons below featuring the Standard, Pro & Max.
