getting to grips
hey, i recently bought a new king cobra driver and have had quite a few problems with it. its fine in the sense that the distance it has because it goes like a rocket, but im just unbale to find the fairway and every so often i seem to catch one of the toe resulting in about a 100yard drive....now im hoping that its just me adjusting myself to the weight ect. but would anyone know any useful tips on how to stop the shanks and it going towards the right, and to get used to it asap.
cheers!!

The club obviously does not suit you, you are 10 handicap what on earth are you thinking.

Drivers are a very personal club and it is essential that one uses a club that is going to help and not hinder. Of course you could learn to hit your new one, but to do so would mean changing the tempo of your current swing to accommodate the differences in the new shaft compared to your current one.
I am a great believer in that if it aint broke then don't attempt to change. My clubs are old but they still work, when they don't, it is because of operator error. It is impossible to buy improvement in ones performance, unless the money is spent on lessons.
You have reached a pretty good standard and it is not new clubs that will bring your handicap down further, I can assure you.
