Recording scores
Should I be recording all scores and including them for handicap calculations? I'm not playing in competitions but am aiming for a 28 handicap - I'm currently on 26.1. I've recorded all rounds played (good and bad) as this seems the fairest assessment of my standard. But I hate recording the bad rounds as it adversely effects my handicap

It's up to you. I would say yes, you get a better and accurate reflection of your game. If you had a club handicap you would only be tracked on home club competition rounds.
Don't worry about the bad rounds this is actually where the UK handicap falls down. Handicaps are calculated on a per round basis rather than an average system similar to how it works in Europe of the US, EGA and USGA respectively. Therefore if you have a fantastically out of this world good round your handicap will drop considerably, if you then do not maintain this level of play it will take you an awful long time to get back to your true standard due to the raise of only 0.1 per round. This is where average type systems work best.

Darren.
