County Golf League http://www.golfshake.com/group/view/2871/ begin their Winter League on Saturday 17th September with a trip to the coast to play Bridlington Links GC.  The match is the first in eight games in the “Race to Moor Allerton” series.  Other games arranged are:

Event 2: Bradley Hall, West Yorkshire, Sunday 9th October.
Event 3: Morley Hayes, Derbyshire, Saturday 12th November.
Event 4: Kilton Forest, Nottinghamshire, Saturday 10th December.
Event 5: Greetham Valley, Leicestershire, Saturday 28th January 2012.
Event 6: Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Sunday 26th February 2012.
Event 7: Sitwell Park, South Yorkshire, Sunday 25th March 2012.
Event 8: Moor Allerton, Leeds, Saturday 28th April 2012.

At all events there are prizes for the top three scores (stableford) and at least one nearest the pin prize.  Bacon rolls and coffee on arrival are also included in the price, which we usually try to keep under the £30 mark.  There are prizes at the end of the league season for which players need to complete four rounds out of the eight to be eligible.

New members are welcome at all events.  The cost for the Bridlington Links game is £29 per person including coffee and bacon or sausage rolls on arrival, 18 holes of golf and prizes.  After the golf, there will also be the presentation of the society’s summer competitions: The CGL Match Play, The CGL Match Play Plate and the CGL Stroke Play.

For more information on this and our other games, please see our web site: http://www.countygolfleague.com/ or drop me a message.

Doesn't matter Rich.  Whatever group you're out in he'll hear your driver!

Congratulations on today by the way.
