Tee times in Portugal

I have a friend who is going to Portugal in the middle of April.

He is looking to get 3 games of golf in while's he there with another friend but is struggling to do this for a £120 budget (approx £40 per round)

I'm not sure if he's just limited himself to the 'most promoted' courses but does anybody know where you can get any discounts for tee times or know of any hidden gems that won't break the bank?

I have just got back, I found that it was cheaper to contact the course directly, compared to the prices online.  Most online sites wont give the different rates for 'twilight' which starts at 13.00 at most courses I spoke to anyway.

Might struggle at £40 a round, if he talks to one of the oceanico courses they do various offers to play 3 of their courses, that tied in with the twilight offers would come in under £100.


All that said, I presume you mean the Algarve...
