Just joined, and need some site advice...

A big hello to all fellow golfers.

A few questions initially:

(1) What does "shake me" mean/do?

(2) I am looking to find a potential playing partner early Sunday mornings in Dorset. How do I go about this? Do I advertise the fact that I am available for invite and wait, or do I post messages to each golfer in the area, and wait?

(3) I assume I must get at least one scorecard entered into the site before the "Members playing same courses" option reveals potential playing partners? Or can I specify a "home"/preferred course anywhere?

Any advice gratefully received.
