Jeremy Dale - trick shots....

Posted by: user24437 | Sun 18th Jul 2010 12:42 | Last Reply

Watched Jeremy and his trick shot show at the Golf for Life charity day yesterday at Grassmoor (brilliant day James, hope you've recovered you looked exhausted yesterday evening!) after the golf.  If any of you get the chance to see him do his stuff then do it, it will either inspire you to do better or just bin your clubs.  I can't believe how he can control a golf ball, despite using heavy duty, stone range balls.  We were treated to a range of shots, from mega-slices, fades and draws from two foot high tees, lob shots with a driver, all while using his clubs both right and left handed, upside down and even backwards!

Highlights had to be the high drive, which must have reached an altitude of 100yds and an amazing set of 75 yd shots, hit straight or with controlled fade or draw - with a putter!  Oh, and the drive which actually dipped some 20 ft first hugging the ground contours before climbing.  Truly amazing, especially as a lot of his drives managed to clear the 30ft high bank at the end of the 200yd driving range.

PS and congratulations to our very own Pete (trick shot) Wilson, who managed to demonstrate a hitherto hidden talent (he had to have one somewhere!) with a bit of expertly synchronised driving with Jeremy!

I've got a video of the Trick Shot King Peter Wilson which I'll upload when i get chance!

I think Jeremy's shots were even more remarkable Tim when we all had a go on the 10th tee and realised how hard it actually was to pull off even the most basic of his "tricks".

Glad you enjoyed the day!
