What a day!!!

Posted by: user293240 | Thu 20th May 2010 23:05 | Last Reply

Blimey!!!!! What a fantastic day. John, Thank you for a great day. Dave M, thanks for turning up you made me look real good And Dean, nice to meet you, those clubs really are shiney and really pretty.

It was great to meet you all and I really appreciate you all taking a walk and helping me out, I felt a definate improvement as we went through the back 9 and I think the scores reflected that. and although I played something that can barely be called a sport at times, there were others when it was sublime (for me).

The course was really nice with soft sand, water with a lid on (or absent) and OOB that were occasionally forgiving. Receptive greens and lucky bounces abound apart from Daves shots....

Oh, but dont ever listen to that John Pettitt bloke, I saw modern clubs and He can hit it no matter what he says

Thank you Gents, it was a pleasure.

I am pleased that you felt the journey was worthwhile. I apologise for those other two gatecrashing your party, but I suppose we had better forgive them.

Your comments have been noted and I forgot to tell you that sometimes I get very lucky and Thursday was one of those days.

You know what you have to do and I expect to see some rapid improvement in your handicap next time we have a game.
