crook or bishop this weekend

Any one know if theres any comps on at either of these this weekend?
As id like to go when its quiet
fancy trying them out before i make my mind up.

Not sure about Crook...

But you could get on before the comps start at either course - as Wayne suggest, telephone the course.

And don't overlook Durham City Golf Club as another option...

And don't worry too much about your score - Crook is a tough track...

I would go to Crook personally. Free round to see what you think - much better than Oakleaf...

Then wander into club house and get a feel for the place - you might get chatting and next thing ya know your in a 4 ball next week..

Don't worry - If your playing stableford they will teach you how to score, like wise with any other game...

As for the technical side of things - you will just pick it up as you go...

Relax, enjoy and if it turns out not to be for you at least it has cost you nothing...

You should be okay though...

If you are playing this weekend I think I would telephone for a tee time soonish though...

if the hon sec wants you to join he'll probably show you around the club house etc. so dont wear jeans or trainors. also if you fancy a round at blyth anytime just let me know.

or a short skirt and high heels and see how that goes down.
